My Tribute to my 2003 Grand Am GT
"Green Means Go"
It got totaled on August 23, 2006 in a head on collision.

A little history about me to help with this story, I love cars. I read Motor Trend, AutoWeek and occasionally Car and Driver. All of my life I have been surrounded by them. My dad was an auto mechanic before he retired. I was on a pit crew at our local track, Lorain Speedway for one season, never got to drive the car though. All five cars/trucks that I have own I loved. The six cars were: 1980 Pontiac Phoenix, 1985 Chevy Cavalier Hatchback, 1988 Chevy S-10 Truck, 2000 Grand Am SE (light green) and 2003 Grand Am GT (dark green) and my recent addition a 2006 Grand Prix. I would feel guilty when I would have to sell them or trade them in to get a better car.

I planned on keeping the Grand Am GT after I finished paying it off in a year because I loved the car. It was a good handling car. This car and I have been through a lot. Two days after I bought the car, I got rear-ended by a Geo Metro. That was an easy repair but I was without my car for a month. It also got me thought some of the rough winter driving up here on the North Coast of Ohio. It went through the snow like it was nothing. I was passing up 4 X4’s on the freeway,
